Press Release Body = Ventura, CA - Many independent, franchise and small business Christian retailers have affirmed the California Christian World Expo's campaign to bring the world together in the marketplace. Local Christian retailers and many across the nation are tapping into a market that generates about $4.5 billion a year in sales. This growth has caused a shift for an industry that was once the mainstay of independent Christian retailers. This tremendous amount of growth has not gone unnoticed from larger chain stores and mainstream retailers such as Wal-mart and Sam's Club. Sales of Christian products are up, but the number of Christian retailers has dropped, from more than 2,400 in 2000 to about 2,100 today. Christian retailers have realized they can\'t compete on price alone. This competition has forced Christian retailers to focus on other areas that are appealing and important to customers such as comfort, design and most importantly personalized customer service. So one wonders what makes them distinctive? Many perceive that it\'s a safe environment. It\'s not only a place to buy, but a place to be at rest ,feel a sense of peace and sometimes get a word on encouragement. Consumers find Christian businesses and stores are as much a place for relaxation and tranquility as a place to shop. Seaside Park-Ventura County Fairgrounds will be the crossroads for a world of fine quality products, information, spectacular speakers and musical artists during the California Christian World Expo held Saturday through Sunday, November 18-19. The two-day Expo will showcase the products and services of local businesses and those from Las Vegas, Florida, Texas and Ohio. Ministries such as Gospel for Asia, Azusa Street Project, and Tri-County Witness Project among many other will be on hand to offer information. Camarillo & Ventura Healing Rooms along with St. Paul Baptist Church Prayer ministry will offer individual prayers for those in need. The Expo runs from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at Seaside Park, located at 10 Harbor Blvd. situated by the ocean in beautiful Ventura, CA.
